Job description
Overview

Fisher & Paykel is an iconic New Zealand brand, a global company with a strong local heritage. Our origins inspire our culture of curiosity and passion to develop solutions designed around people — these are core elements that make us unique.

We are driven by our values of being trusted, sustainably minded, innovative, generous, and curious. As a team we take a collaborative approach and have a working environment where all ideas are heard, evaluated, and tested against our leading goal – to be the world's most human-centered appliance brand.

This role plays a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. It is responsible for working with business units across the organisation to analyse business processes and requirements in order to define suitable solutions for the technology teams to deliver value to our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Provide cross‑organisational analytical activity and review of current processes, gather user requirements, and translate this to high‑level designs and solution analysis
  • Identify and document process gaps and define improvement opportunities that will drive value to customers and the organisation
  • Develop strong relationships across the business and within IT, working closely with process owners, SMEs, architects, developers, business stakeholders and external partners
  • Balance workload across multiple priorities, including project delivery, continuous improvement, IT strategic objectives and 2nd tier BAU support
  • Mentor and support junior BAs across projects and BAU work
  • Utilise business analysis tools and skills to facilitate agile delivery across products, streams and teams
Qualifications

You will have 3+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst, ideally with exposure across CRMs or ERPs and processes relevant to improving customer experience and business process improvements across various areas of the organisation.

You will be experienced in working in Agile or a DevOps environment with exceptional interpersonal skills, including a proven ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, exemplary communication skills and a talent for conveying complex information simply and concisely.

What We Offer

Our environment is designed to allow people to thrive. Our culture supports ongoing development, with opportunities to grow within a global organisation and work with talented professionals.

You will be part of a team‑based culture that offers development opportunities, a challenging and supportive work environment, leading technology, work/life balance, competitive remuneration, a superannuation scheme, and on-site facilities (Auckland) including a subsidised cafeteria and free car parking.
