About the Role

This 6-month contract role plays a vital part in advancing IT business operations. You’ll lead business analysis across key customer projects—bridging teams, aligning goals, and ensuring outcomes that deliver real value.

• Ideally to start immediately or within the next couple of weeks
• 6-month initial contract
• Rate range: $880-900 per day gst
• Must be Auckland based - hybrid working - 3 days in office

Key Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering sessions with cross-functional stakeholders to capture business needs.
• Analyse and document business processes, identifying areas for optimisation and improvement.
• Collaborate with technical teams to translate business needs into solution requirements.
• Mentor junior business analysts and provide guidance on best practices and documentation standards.
• Ensure effective communication and alignment between business units and technical delivery teams.

Key Skills and Experience

• Experience as a Business Analyst in large-scale or customer-facing environments.
• Proven ability in stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation, and requirements documentation.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated success in process mapping and operational improvement.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to think critically, solve problems, and navigate complex environments.
• Comfortable working in agile and waterfall methodologies.
• Experience in utilities, telecom, or regulated sectors is an advantage.
