Our Building Services team plays an important role in making this happen, by ensuring these buildings across the city are safe, compliant, and fit for the people who live, work, and visit here.
After a great response to our first campaign, we’ve opened another opportunity for a qualified and competent Building Control Officer – Processing to join the team. If you have current residential or commercial processing competency and are looking for a great opportunity to help shape your city, while working in a supportive, knowledgeable and high performing team, we’d love to hear from you.
In this role, you’ll assess and certify building consent applications, reviewing plans and supporting documentation to ensure they meet the requirements of the Building Act 2004, Building Code, and relevant regulations. You’ll provide clear, practical advice to customers and industry professionals, make sound technical decisions, and help ensure applications are processed accurately and within statutory timeframes.
