Job summary

DKW Personnel represents a leading asphalt contractor in New Zealand seeking a Class 2/4 Civil Construction Driver/Labourer in Canterbury. You will join the construction crew and operate 5.5-tonne trucks and other machinery to support driveway, car park and subdivision works.

Responsibilities include preparing asphalt and chip seal, timber and boxing, compactors operation and general labouring. A valid NZ Class 2 license (and ideally Class 4) is required to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Must hold NZ Class 2 license (ideally Class 4)
• Willingness to perform general labouring and operate machinery

Responsibilities

• Operate 5.5 tonne/ class 2 or 4 trucks across Canterbury
• Work in the construction crew on various sites
• Prepare driveways, car parks, subdivisions and tennis courts
• Handle timber and boxing tasks
• Prepare asphalt and chip seal surfaces
• Operate plate compactors and other machinery
• Perform general labouring and other duties as required

At present, we are looking for a Class 2/4 Civil Construction Driver/Labourer

Your Main Responsibilities Will Include:

• 5.5 tone truck, class 2/4 truck all around Canterbury
• Working in the construction crew
• Driveways, car parks, subdivisions, tennis courts etc
• Timber & boxing
• Prep ashphalt, chip seal
• Operating plat compactors
• Other machinery as required
• General labouring
• Other duties as required

The successful candidate must have a valid NZ class 2 and ideally 4 driver's license.
