Job summary

Auckland Council’s Building Consent team is seeking a full-time Regulatory Support Officer for a 9-month fixed-term position to join our Central Auckland Team. You will have the opportunity to use your solid organisational and administration skills to provide process support, ensuring the smooth running of our end-to-end consenting processes for our building consent department.

This is a customerfocused role that will allow you to be part of our hardworking and supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Minimum 4 years of previous experience in a business administration and Customer Service role.
• Confidence around working with complex databases and information.
• Experience managing financial account reconciliations & Customer disputes.

Responsibilities

• To provide end-to-end support for all consenting applications under the Building Consent umbrella.
• Deliver high quality customer excellence to internal and external customers.
• Ensure the accuracy and consistency of regulatory consent data.
• Be responsible for handling all customer inquiries and complaints related to financial disputes, invoicing, and regulatory applications, to ensure satisfactory customer outcomes.
