Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the stability and performance of the client's broadcast network ecosystems.
  • Provide technical support for broadcast network systems and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Monitor and address network faults to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all network systems and processes.
  • Collaborate with the client's internal teams to ensure optimal broadcast service performance.
  • Weekend work may be required to support network operations and maintenance.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong experience with Cisco IP networking, including TCP/IP, BGP, and related protocols.
  • In-depth understanding of broadcast networks and fault monitoring tools.
  • Proven experience in troubleshooting and maintaining broadcast and network infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts and security practices within a broadcast environment.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualifications in Networking, IT, or a related field.
  • Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are highly desirable.
  • Experience working with broadcast industry standards is advantageous.
  • Experience with routers, switches and firewalls.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to work weekends as required to meet the client's operational needs.
  • New Zealand Citizens or Permanent Residents only.
