Job description

Location:Tuatara Brewery, Upper Hutt, New Zealand

Function:Supply Chain

Type of Contract:Full-time Permanent

Ready to craft iconic brews? Join our Tuatara Brewery team in Upper Hutt and help us deliver the finest beer, cider, and RTD products to Kiwis and beyond.

As a Brewing Technician, you’ll work across all areas of the brewery, learning from a talented crew and gaining hands-on experience producing some of New Zealand’s most loved brands. You’ll be key to keeping our quality high, our shelves stocked, and our reputation shining.

What you’ll do:

  • Operate brewing, cider, and RTD production processes to world-class standards
  • Work with Planning, Inventory, and Packaging teams to meet production goals
  • Carry out quality checks and help keep the brewery in top shape
  • Assist with maintenance and continuous improvement projects
  • Rotate across different shifts (early brew, late brew, filtration, cellar)

What you’ll bring:

  • Secondary education and either a relevant tertiary qualification (Level 4+) or 2–3 years’ experience in FMCG or maintenance
  • Bonus points for brewing, biotechnology, engineering or continuous improvement experience (TPM, Lean, Six Sigma)
