The opportunity - Te tūranga

As Breakfast Assistant reporting to Executive Producer Breakfast, you will contribute to the co-ordination of the Breakfast program and assisting in the delivery of a quality Breakfast program.

Your Focus Will Be

  • Write up the morning's Breakfast guest list for Security and Make Up.
  • Meet and greet Breakfast guests and take to make up, then escort guests out of studio and out of building when required.
  • Ensure guests are on time and inform producers if they are late or unaccounted for.
  • Help guests feel at ease and answer their inquiries about the interview procedure.
  • Escort guests into the studio at the correct time and get them seated with microphones.
  • Provide refreshments, props and other material to presenters.
  • Ensure any props used for interviews are in place well ahead of an interview segments.
  • Help guests set up props and other material for their interview.
  • Constantly monitor all feedback from emails and texts, pass on to programme producer or presenter as required.

This is unique entry level role opportunity to work in our Breakfast team- opportunities don't come up very often in this team. You will need to love early mornings.
