Job description
THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking an outstanding Brand Manager who has in-depth understanding of the full marketing mix. In this role you’ll be proactively developing, implementing and managing creative brand and content marketing ideas and communication plans in line with our business strategy.

You’ll be a brand champion, focusing on driving audience growth for NZME’s audio brands through innovative and market leading digital initiatives and marketing campaigns.

Multitasking and juggling multiple campaigns and brands simultaneously is essential. We’re fast paced and as such need someone flexible and willing to roll up their sleeves when needed including working on higher level strategic activity through to doing media bookings as they arise.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Drive the development and execution of an integrated marketing strategy.
  • Introduce ways that key consumer data and insights can be analysed and presented as commercial options.
  • Foster innovative thinking amongst the team to ensure new audience and revenue opportunities are identified and realised.
  • Support the management of annual budgets to support the designated strategic plans.
  • Support the capturing of reliable measures and reporting back to the business to track progress against plans and KPIs.
  • Develop creative and innovative marketing activity working closely with internal and external stakeholders, increasing brand profile and helping to drive audience and subscriptions.
  • Sharing knowledge and providing support to other members of the marketing team as required.
ABOUT YOU
  • Degree in marketing, media, advertising, or promotions
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a fast-paced brand marketing role
  • Track record in developing insightful marketing strategies from start to completion
  • Excellent relationship management experience
  • Exceptional digital marketing knowledge within a media environment would be an advantage
  • Demonstrable, hands-on experience within a multimedia environment highly beneficial
  • A confident communicator and team player
