Job summary

Global Wave Group is seeking a skilled Graphic Designer to bolster branding across online and offline channels. Based in Auckland CBD, this office-based role supports marketing campaigns with visually compelling designs that elevate our brand identity.

You will manage visual assets, develop concepts, maintain the visual identity system, and collaborate closely with marketing, product and PR teams. A strong portfolio and 2+ years in the field are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Visual Communication, Graphic Design, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in graphic design; internet/advertising/brand design experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other major design tools.
• Strong creative ideation skills and the ability to take a project from concept to final production.
• Excellent sense of aesthetics, typography, layout, and color; highly detail-oriented.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to understand business needs and deliver commercially effective designs.
• A portfolio showcasing past design work is required.

Responsibilities

• Create visual assets for social media, marketing collateral, advertising visuals, exhibition materials, and other promotional designs.
• Develop creative concepts aligned with brand positioning and communication goals.
• Maintain and evolve the visual identity system to ensure brand consistency across outputs.
• Improve design templates to enhance visual consistency and brand recognition.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and PR teams to support campaigns and initiatives.
• Deliver design variations quickly based on campaign needs and stakeholder feedback.
• Balance creativity with user experience considerations to resonate with target audiences.
• Stay updated with design trends and platform best practices, proposing innovative solutions.
