Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain core blockchain protocols and infrastructure using Go or Rust.
• Design and implement high-performance, scalable, and secure blockchain nodes.

• Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code following best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (4+ years) as a Software Developer, with at least 2 years focused on blockchain development.
• Strong proficiency in either Go or Rust programming languages.
• Deep understanding of blockchain architecture, consensus mechanisms, and cryptography.
• Experience developing distributed systems and network protocols.
• Familiarity with blockchain platforms like Hyperledger Fabric, Ethereum, or Cosmos SDK.
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, essential for remote work.
• Experience working with systems in the Queenstown, Eastern Cape region is not required but considered a plus.
