Alignerr is seeking a Biochemistry Subject Matter Expert (AI Training) for a fully remote, hourly contracting role. You will design challenging biochemistry problems, author precise ground-truth solutions, and audit AI outputs to ensure high scientific accuracy. No AI experience required, PhD-level expertise preferred.

Qualifications

• PhD (completed or in final stages) in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field.
• Strong foundational knowledge in structural biology, enzymology, cellular metabolism, bioinformatics, or molecular genetics.
• Analytical writing ability to clearly convey complex concepts.
• Detail-oriented with precision in complex chemical equations and protocols.
• No prior AI experience required.

Responsabilités

• Design advanced biochemistry problems across domains like nucleic acid chemistry, proteomics, enzyme kinetics, and drug-target interactions to test AI performance.
• Author ground-truth solutions with precise, step-by-step reasoning to guide AI.
• Audit AI outputs for accuracy in biochemical pathways, structures, and proofs.
• Refine AI reasoning by identifying errors and providing structured feedback to improve model thinking.
