Billing and Operations Specialist | 6 month Fixed Term Full time Opportunity

The role:

As our Billing and Operations Specialist you will get down in the detail to deliver exceptional billing and operational support services to Assurity stakeholders, directly impacting on our overall client experience.

Working across a range of areas, including core systems, projects & billing and client commercial, this role is all about understanding your stakeholder and our client’s needs and translating these into outcomes that can be relied upon to produce the great results.

Your everyday outputs will vary, some of the key responsibilities include:

Accounts Receivable & Billing

  • Generate and manage monthly client invoices to ensure contract compliance.
  • Support project, billing, contract, and client/account setup.
  • Monitor and manage weekly staff timesheet submissions.
  • Oversee the Accounts Receivable and Operations email inbox and route inquiries.
  • Prepare data for weekly revenue forecasts.
  • Support additional month-end billing tasks.
  • Manage and pursue overdue client invoices.
  • Respond to system queries related to timesheets, leave,and data visibility.

Operational Support

  • Provide building maintenance, sub-tenant, and People Lead/Leadership Team support.
  • Organize company and branch activities, events, and meeting logistics (including catering).
  • Manage staff onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Maintain office supplies, kitchen facilities, and mail.
  • Handle phone calls and act as a communication liaison between staff and clients.

About You:

Collaborative and used to working in a busy office environment, you will be comfortable working in a consulting environment and able to work efficiently and effectively to deliver great customer outcomes.

Bringing operational and billing experience, you have an eye for detail and the ability to interpret complex information and data. You can also translate this into meaningful, useful information that informs decision-making.

Along with your natural ability to plan and prioritise key tasks while working to strict timeframes, you will also:

  • Have an aptitude for picking up new systems and processes
  • Understand client commercial contracts
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
