A primary school in Northland is seeking a full-time certificated teacher for a maternity position in their bilingual class for 2026. Due to a maternity position we are looking for a culturally responsive, reflective, positive and highly motivated teacher to join our kura for 2026 to work alongside a dedicated and passionate team in our Y3-6 bilingual class.

Applicants should have knowledge of Te Reo me ōna Tikanga at Level 2 immersion Māori and a sound understanding of the NZC. They must have the ability to work collaboratively and place a high emphasis on building relationships with our tamariki and their whānau.

Our kura has high standards of achievement, and we actively look at ways to extend those through our Inquiry learning.

An ability to contribute to our kapa haka rōpū alongside our amazing tutor would be advantageous.
