Job summary

JT Plumbing, Drainage and Gas in Tauranga is seeking a Registered Drainlayer to carry out drainage works across residential and commercial projects. You''ll handle new installations, maintenance, and on-site problem solving with strong team support from Operations and Estimating.

The role offers an excellent pay rate based on experience, a full-time permanent position, company vehicle and tools, and ongoing training and upskilling opportunities in a supportive Bay of Plenty team.

Qualifications

• Registered Drainlayer with a current practising licence (PGDB).
• Experience across residential and commercial drainage works.
• Full, clean driver''s licence.
• Eligible to work in NZ (visa/residency/citizenship).

Hourly Rates: $38 - $48+ p/h depending on experience

Must Haves: Registered Drainlayer with a current practising licence (PGDB)

About the Job

As a Registered Drainlayer, you'll be responsible for carrying out drainage works efficiently and to a high standard. This includes residential and commercial work, new installations, maintenance, and problem-solving on site.

You’ll have strong support from our internal team, including Operations and Estimating, to help you succeed in the role.

• Registered Drainlayer with a current practising licence (PGDB)

• Good communication and relationship-building skills
• Reliable, motivated, and takes pride in their work
• Full, clean driver's licence
• Customer-focused with a professional attitude
• Team player who shows initiative and is solution-focused
