Job summary

Bapcor NZ is seeking a technically strong BI and Systems Developer to turn complex data into clear insights, build dashboards, and support users across the business. This role develops and maintains BI tools and business systems to enable data-driven decision-making.

You will design dashboards, optimize SQL queries and data models, manage data quality, and provide admin support for CRM and Power Platform solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Proven BI/reporting development experience with dashboards and reports (QlikSense / PowerBI).
• Strong SQL skills and data modeling abilities.
• Ability to design clear, accurate dashboards and visualizations.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with PowerApps/Power Automate is advantageous.
• Microsoft certifications in Power BI/Power Platform/SQL are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain interactive BI dashboards and reports to support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Develop clear, accurate, and user-friendly data visualizations that translate business requirements into meaningful insights.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and data models to support reporting, analytics, and system requirements.
• Extract, transform, validate, and reconcile data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
• Identify and resolve data quality issues, working with relevant teams to improve source data and business processes.
• Provide administration, user access management, and troubleshooting support for CRM systems and Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
• Maintain and enhance PowerApps applications and Power Automate flows to meet business needs.
• Support end users, resolve system issues, and help ensure platform security and performance.
• Identify opportunities to integrate systems, automate workflows, and improve data flows, tools, and processes across departments.
• Stay informed of platform updates, best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Ensure your safety and the safety of those around you by following all safe work practices, policies, procedures, and instructions.
