Job summary

Bessie in Christchurch is hiring for a part-time cleaner to keep the restaurant and bar looking mint. The role offers 20–25 hours per week with autonomy in scheduling and a competitive hourly rate in New Zealand dollars.

You will perform cleaning procedures to a high standard, operate floor polishers and vacuums, and tackle ad hoc tasks. Applicants must be 18+ with valid NZ working rights.

Qualifications

• Experience with high-cleaning standards in hospitality is preferred.
• Ability to follow site-specific cleaning procedures.
• Physically able to lift and move cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning procedures to a high standard across venues.
• Operate a battery-powered floor polisher to scrub and polish floors.
• Operate a high-powered vacuum cleaner to remove debris from hard-to-reach places.
• Carry out ad hoc cleaning tasks to keep venues looking superb.

Job description

The Role

We are looking for an excellent candidate to fill a part-time cleaning position at Bessie, Christchurch. The primary objective of this role is to keep our restaurant and bar looking mint. This role is ideal for those seeking extra cash alongside a primary job! This is a part-time role at 20-25 hours per week.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Execute our cleaning procedures to a very high standard at each of our Auckland venues


• Use a batterypowered floor polisher to scrub and polish all floors


• Use a high powered vacuumcleaner to remove debris from hard to reach places


• Complete ad hoc cleaning tasks as required to keep the venues looking superb


• Heavy lifting of cleaning equipment will be required
