Job summary

sKids Pillans Point site is seeking a Programme Manager to oversee daily operations and activities for children across morning and afternoon sessions. You will lead a team, plan structured activities, manage behaviour, and liaise with parents and school staff.

Qualifications

Proven leadership experience with groups of children in educational or childcare contexts.
Ability to manage challenging behaviour with positive guidance strategies.
Confident communicator with parents, caregivers and school staff.
Right to work in New Zealand and reliable transport to site.

Responsibilities

Take full ownership of day-to-day running of the sKids programme from set-up to pack-down.
Lead a large group of children, creating a safe, inclusive and engaging environment.
Plan and deliver structured activities (arts, sports, trips, baking, drama, music).
Coach and delegate to Programme Assistants to maintain high standards.
Prepare in advance with resources and clear team expectations to ensure smooth sessions.
