Job summary

Farmers Trading Company Ltd in New Zealand is seeking a Health & Beauty Advisor to join our Beauty Department. You will interact with customers, demonstrate makeup and skincare products, and help shoppers find the right solutions.

You should have experience in retail or customer service, strong communication, and a passion for Health and Beauty. A makeup artistry certificate is advantageous, with opportunities for training and career progression within our network.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a retail or a customer service environment.
• Great communication skills, enabling you to approach customers in a friendly welcoming manner, and providing them with a rewarding customer experience.
• Confidence in applying makeup and skincare to new and existing loyal customers, a certificate in makeup artistry would be an advantage!
• A real passion for Health and Beauty products, and a desire to keep learning and upskilling ... this is your first step towards a career within our Beauty Department!

Responsibilities

• Your day will be varied and no two customers will be the same.
• Assist customers in selecting makeup and skincare products to match their needs.
• Keep the beauty floor tidy and well merchandised to showcase the latest brands and trends.

We are the Department Store that has it all, with 60 stores nationwide we are one of New Zealand's largest retail networks which means we can offer career progression and endless opportunities.

This is a permanent part-time/full-time position. The successful candidate will work the following roster:

• Tuesday 9.00 - 5.00
• Thursday 8.45 - 5.00
• Friday 8.45 - 5.00
• Saturday 9.00 - 3.00

The Role:

Working with a range of international and local Brands, you will know all the latest trends and influencers who shape the beauty industry. Your day will be varied and no two customers will be the same, so you will need to be a fast thinker who can offer a range of products to match their needs.

We are seeking a Health & Beauty, Beauty Advisor to join our team who has:
