Overview

Our bustling bar in the heart of Queenstown is pumping once more. We are the busiest bar in Queenstown and are looking for a dedicated team member to help us deliver exceptional service during what could be one of our busiest years yet.

The Role

This position is about pumping out the best drinks across the bar in the most efficient manner. You’ll be working mainly on Friday and Saturday nights, with occasional weeknight shifts, depending on trading hours and business needs. You can expect to work 10–20 hours per week, with flexibility based on your availability and the venue’s requirements.

Your main responsibilities
  • Greeting customers.
  • Making cocktails, coffees, shots, etc.
  • Assisting the sales manager as required.
  • Setting up the bar for busy periods and completing the opening / closing procedures.
Security duties
  • Proactively monitoring intoxication levels within our site.
  • Reporting and coordinating with the Manager on shift.
  • Managing and de-escalating conflict.
  • Upholding the Sale and Supply of Liquor Act 2012.
  • Checking IDs.
Accommodation

If you require accommodation, we offer long-term accommodation in a fully furnished shared twin-share room with linen for $200 a week, or a single room for $300 a week. During peak season (1 June – 1 October), rates are $275 for a twin-share room and $400 for a single room. Rates include all bills.
