Job summary

Foodstuffs South Island New World Waimate is seeking a passionate Deli/Bakery Assistant for a fixed-term period. The role requires early morning starts and weekend shifts with potential for extra shifts.

You will assist with food preparation, baking, packing and presentation, while maintaining our strict food control standards. You’ll join a collaborative team, demonstrate initiative, and have opportunities to learn and grow within the store.

Qualifications

• Passion for food and strict food control program.
• Loves baking and decorating.
• Good knowledge of cooking, production, packing and presentation.
• Strong teamwork, initiative and can work independently.
• Honest, reliable and a positive attitude.
• Physically fit (you will be on your feet all day with some heavy lifting).
• Willingness to learn and grow.
