Job summary

PAK'nSAVE Hornby is seeking a hands-on Bakery Assistant Manager to help lead one of the busiest departments in our store. If you’re passionate about fresh food and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you.

You will support the Bakery Manager, lead the team, and ensure high-quality bakery products while maintaining food safety and stock control. This role offers opportunities for ongoing training and career progression within Foodstuffs South Island.

Qualifications

• Bakery or supermarket experience, leadership is an advantage.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Mentoring and developing others.
• Excellent organisation and communication skills.
• Pride in producing quality products daily.
• Able to work efficiently in a busy environment and make sound decisions.
• Reliable with early starts.

Responsibilities
