Job summary

Woolworths New Zealand is seeking a friendly Baker to join our Tauranga bakery team. You will be responsible for preparing and baking quality cakes and breads, while championing health and food safety practices to ensure great customer service for bakery customers.

You will also train and supervise apprentices and team members, bringing your baking expertise and passion for food to a collaborative store environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in baking is required.
• Customer focus and good communication are essential.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake quality cakes and breads for the department.
• Champion Health and Food Safety practices to ensure excellent customer service.
• Train, develop and supervise apprentices and team members in the Bakery Department.
