Job summary

Woolworths New Zealand is seeking a Baker to join our bakery team in-store. You will be responsible for preparing and baking cakes and breads, while upholding Health, Safety and Food Safety standards to deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll train and supervise apprentices and bakery team members, contributing to a collaborative and fun store culture with opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Previous baking experience required.
• Strong customer focus and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake quality cakes and breads for the department.
• Champion Health and Safety and Food Safety practices to ensure excellent customer service for bakery customers.
• Train, develop and supervise apprentices and team members in the Bakery Department.
