As a frontline officer, you will screen passengers, patrol the airport, monitor access, and help maintain security across the aviation network, working with colleagues to keep New Zealand fly safe.

Qualifications

• Be a New Zealand citizen or resident.
• Be medically fit and willing to undergo a medical assessment.
• Successfully complete background checks (reference and police vetting).
• Able to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment requiring sustained concentration.
• Available to work a rostered pattern of 6 days on, 3 days off, including nights, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Screen passengers and baggage using specialised security equipment.
• Conduct mobile, foot, and static patrols throughout the airport environment.
• Monitor access to secure areas and verify identification credentials.
• Identify, prevent and respond to potential security breaches.
• Support safe airport operations through observation, communication and rapid response.
• Collaborate with colleagues and airport stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain security.
