Job description

AV Media provides a full range of technical & production services for a wide range of clients in premium venues across Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, and Queenstown. Our business is growing, and we're looking for new team members who enjoy hands-on learning.

We have a position available in Queenstown for a venue-based AV Technician.

The main responsibilities of this role include working on live, hybrid, and virtual events to set up and operate AV equipment, packing equipment, troubleshooting, and ensuring all AV requirements are met.

To succeed, you should bring:

  • A positive, proactive attitude and a sense of humor
  • An enthusiasm for technology and a desire to learn
  • No fear of physical work
  • Excellent people skills with a focus on customer service
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Calmness under pressure to troubleshoot and reassure during technical issues

You should also be willing to work weekends and evenings and hold a full, clean driver’s license.
