Job summary

Terry Soot Management Group (TSMG) is seeking an Autonomous Vehicle Test Operator to operate and evaluate a self-driving vehicle in autonomous mode, collect data, and provide feedback. The role includes offering ride-hail service to the public and requires rotating shifts, including overnights.

The position emphasizes safety, detailed reporting, and hands-on use of laptops and touchscreen devices while monitoring vehicle behavior in autonomous mode across various routes and conditions.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with a laptop and common Office apps (Gmail, Sheets, Docs).
• Ability to use handheld devices and touchscreen interfaces.
• Strong attention to detail and concise description of observations.

Responsibilities

• Operate/drive autonomous vehicles on defined and undefined routes in autonomous mode.
• Test other aspects of our autonomous vehicles.
• Complete timely, detailed ride reports for operations and engineering teams.
• Must work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts.
• Maintain high safety standards inside and outside the vehicle.
