Job summary

Repco is opening a new store in Otago/Wānaka and is seeking Automotive Parts Interpreters to deliver expert knowledge to trade and retail customers. You will build relationships, solve problems, and provide a genuine service in a busy customer contact role.

The role requires passion for automotive parts, customer service excellence and the ability to communicate technically and non-technically. A valid driver’s licence and flexible availability are essential.

Qualifications

• Prior automotive parts or mechanical experience.
• Passionate about delivering customer service with some sales exposure.
• Able to communicate in both technical and non-technical terms.
• Proactive problem solver with solid computer skills.
• Flexible availability and a valid driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to trade and retail customers using automotive parts knowledge.
• Build effective relationships with customers and peers.
• Sell and resolve issues using up-to-date product information.
• Contribute to a genuine service experience and create lasting impressions for customers.
• Work in a busy phone-based customer contact role and stay safety-conscious.
