Job description

The Opportunity;
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Electrician to join our Swanson team.

As our Automotive Electrician, you will be responsible for undertaking electrical repairs and scheduled maintenance work on our fleet of vehicles to a high standard.
Working on a variety of heavy vehicle brands including Volvo, MAN, Scania, BCI, and Mitsubishi.
This role reports to our Workshop Manager. You will be undertaking electrical installation of accessories and ancillary equipment on a wide variety of coaches, buses, and vehicles. You will also be responsible for servicing and repairing.

Your Skills;

  1. NZQA L4 Automotive Electrical Engineering/ equivalent automotive workshop experience
  2. Current New Zealand Drivers’ License Class 1 (ideally up to C4)
  3. Reliable
  4. Mechanically minded
  5. Eye for detail
  6. Health and safety conscious
  7. Physically capable of lifting up to 25kgs
  8. Tech savvy
  9. Enthusiastic attitude
