Job summary

Specsavers in Lower Hutt and Upper Hutt, Wellington, NZ, is seeking an Audiology Professional on a part-time basis. You will deliver personalised hearing care through assessments, fittings, and ongoing support, working closely with retail teams and the Audiology Partner.

The role offers a flexible roster with weekend availability and opportunities for professional development. You’ll be based mainly in Lower Hutt, with optional shifts at nearby Specsavers stores, to extend access to quality

Qualifications

• Certificate of Clinical Competence required or equivalent.
• Experience in adult rehabilitation with hearing aids is preferred.
• Strong communication and compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalised hearing care through comprehensive assessments, fittings, and ongoing support.
• Report to the Audiology Partner and collaborate with in-store retail teams.
• Build flexible rosters while serving Lower Hutt and Upper Hutt communities.
• Support ongoing professional development and growth within Specsavers Audiology.

As a clinician working within Specsavers Audiology, you’ll focus on delivering personalised hearing care through comprehensive assessments, fittings, and ongoing support. Reporting to the Audiology Partner, you’ll benefit from ongoing clinical support and professional development, while thriving in a fast-paced environment that values initiative, autonomy, and strong relationships with our in-store retail teams.

You’llbepartoftheLowerHuttandUpperHuttteams, playing an important role in expanding access to quality hearing care across the local community. Working alongside an experienced Audiology Partner and supportive retail teams, you’ll enjoy the flexibility to build a roster that works for you while making a meaningful impact with your patients.

InthisPartTimerole,you'llwork3–4daysperweek, with a core roster of Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday and flexibility around the days you work.

Weekendavailabilityishighlyregarded, providing an opportunity to support the continued growth of the business and expand our services to the wider community.

Whilst you'll be predominantly based at Lower Hutt, there is also the opportunity to pick up additional shifts at neighbouring Specsavers stores, offering further variety and flexibility throughout your week.
