About the job

Make a difference, every day.

As an Audiologist at Triton, you’ll guide clients on their hearing journey with care, compassion, and cutting-edge tools. This isn’t just a clinical role—it’s a chance to connect, empower, and help people rediscover joy through sound.

You will:

  • Conduct full hearing assessments, fittings, and follow-up care
  • Support clients with tinnitus management and teleaudiology services
  • Use your expertise to recommend hearing solutions tailored to each individual
  • Build lasting relationships and see the real impact of your work

Why choose Whakatāne?

Looking for sun, surf, and serenity? You’ll find it all in Whakatāne. The eastern Bay of Plenty’s main centre, Whakatāne boasts some of New Zealand’s best weather and a truly unbeatable lifestyle.

Love the outdoors? Explore wild coastlines, lush forests, scenic rivers, and nearby Ōhope Beach—perfect for swimming, surfing, or simply soaking in the sunshine. It’s a paradise for hiking, fishing (hello, yellowfin tuna capital!), and boating enthusiasts alike.

Add in a warm, close-knit community, vibrant food scene, and a pace of life that gives you room to breathe—and you’ve got a place that makes work-life balance a breeze.

Other locations we're looking for:

Whanganui (North Island): Small but perfectly formed, this river town is a creative haven that hums with a vibrant art scene. A historic riverside city with a thriving arts scene, Whanganui offers a relaxed, affordable lifestyle with easy access to nature. Enjoy river adventures, scenic parks, and a vibrant community, all just a short drive from the mountains, beaches, and larger city centres—perfect for those seeking balance, creativity, and connection.

Invercargill (South Island): One of the world’s southernmost cities, Invercargill is Southland’s regional capital, offering a laid-back lifestyle with plenty of adventure. Enjoy long summer days, breathtaking sights of the Aurora Australis, and stunning walks along the Estuary and Queens Park. With Fiordland, Milford Sound, The Catlins, and Stewart Island just a short trip away, it’s the perfect location for those who love the outdoors and adventure.

Oamaru (South Island): On the South Island’s east coast, is a charming town known for its beautifully preserved Victorian architecture and welcoming community. With excellent schools, safe neighbourhoods, and a stunning natural coastline home to blue penguins and outdoor adventure, it’s an ideal place for families and nature lovers alike. Add in a quirky Steampunk culture and thriving arts scene, and you’ll find a town that’s anything but ordinary.

  • A client-first mindset with the ability to simplify the complex.
  • Great communication and a calm, consultative style.
  • Experience delivering high-quality care using clinical systems.
  • A drive to keep learning, growing, and doing meaningful work.

What’s in it for you?

We’re more than a hearing care provider. We’re a supportive, social, and purpose-driven team—committed to looking after each other as well as our clients.

  • A friendly and social environment with generous recognition and social budgets to celebrate and look after our social wellbeing.
  • Rewarding YOU with salaries and bonus’ designed to recognise your expertise and exceptional performance.
  • Substantial Parental Leave Package & Paid Partners Leave.
  • A $200 Wellbeing Allowance to spend on your health and wellbeing.
