A healthcare organization in New Zealand is seeking a part-time Audiologist to support the Audiology department in Nelson. This role focuses on providing diagnostic assessments and rehabilitation services for the hearing-impaired population. Candidates should have a relevant Audiology qualification approved by the NZAS and a current clinical competency certificate. Experience with pediatrics is preferred, and applicants must be eligible to work in New Zealand.

As an Audiologist, you will assist with the smooth day-to-day operation of the Audiology department by providing efficient, effective, holistic and safe diagnostic assessment and rehabilitation of the hearing-impaired population of all ages.
You will work in a small and highly motivated multidisciplinary team providing diagnostic and rehabilitation services to the population who qualify for our services. You will also support the Newborn Hearing Screening and Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) specialist services.
This is a district-wide position, based in Nelson with regular travel between Blenheim and Nelson.
The role is fixed term part-time (0.45 FTE) covering maternity leave for 11 months, working 36 hours per fortnight Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm. There is no on-call required.

As an Audiologist, you will:
Experience particularly in paediatrics is preferred, but we encourage any interested Audiologist to apply, as we would be happy to support the right candidate in gaining the required clinical skills.
