About the role We’re looking for an experienced Audio Visual and Automation Manager to oversee the delivery of high-end residential and commercial projects across the Queenstown Lakes District. This hands-on leadership role combines technical expertise, project management, and client engagement to deliver effective solutions. Live and work in one of NZ’s most beautiful regions while leading a high-performing team delivering premium AV and smart automation solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor technicians and subcontractors
  • Manage end-to-end AV and automation projects
  • Oversee installation, programming, and commissioning (Control4, KNX, C-Bus, networking)
  • Ensure projects are on time, on budget, and to the highest standard
  • Build lasting relationships with clients and contractors
About You
  • 3–5+ years’ AV/automation experience, with leadership or PM skills
  • Proficiency in Control4, KNX, or C-Bus (or similar)
  • Strong IP networking and integrated systems knowledge
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Full, clean NZ driver’s licence
