Qualifications

  • Experience in an admin or coordination role is preferred.
  • Tertiary qualification in Audio, Media, Marketing or Communication is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of audio workflows and copywriting for audio is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and develop skills in radio advertising production and AI tools.
  • Coordinate the flow of production briefs from briefs to delivery.
  • Manage studio bookings, voice talent casting and music selection.
  • Load advertising content for broadcast and ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with creative teams, traffic, account managers and clients.
  • Take ownership of production-focused briefs from start to finish.
  • Monitor campaign tracking, reporting and production outcomes.
  • Gain hands-on experience in project management and business communication.

Job description

THE GIG:

We’re after a really great human to join our Auckland team as our Audio Creative Coordinator. This is the perfect opportunity to get your foot in the door to media, creative, production and audio.

Our team is behind all the audio ads on our radio stations. We bring creative ideas to life to produce memorable, effective and award-winning work. You’ll be playing a key role in helping to keep projects moving, solving problems, coordinating workflow and making sure everything runs like a well-oiled machine.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE IT HAPPEN:
  • Learn and develop skills in radio advertising production, copywriting, creative processes and AI tools

  • Coordinate the flow of production briefs, receiving, allocating and tracking jobs from commercial teams through to delivery

  • Manage audio studio bookings, voice talent casting and music selection

  • Load supplied advertising content for broadcast and ensure all material meets legal and compliance requirements

  • Work closely with creative teams, radio traffic, account managers and clients to deliver campaigns

  • Take ownership of a variety of production-focused briefs from start to finish

  • Monitor campaign tracking, reporting and production outcomes

  • Gain hands-on experience in project management, business communication and commercial audio production

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TEAM:
  • Previous experience in an admin or coordination role would be desirable

  • A tertiary qualification in Audio, Media, Marketing and/or Communication would be an advantage

  • Knowledge of workflows, process and copywriting for audio would also be beneficial

  • A natural curiosity and eagerness to learn new skills

  • You enjoy taking ownership and thrive on getting stuck into tasks and projects

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships

  • Proactive and organised, with the ability to think ahead and solve problems

  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment

  • A keen eye for detail and a strong focus on accuracy

  • You thrive on variety, have a positive, can-do attitude and bring a willingness to roll up your sleeves when needed
