Job summary

Hotel Indigo Auckland, part of the InterContinental Hotels Group, is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to join our Sales & Marketing team. You will uncover new business opportunities, grow a portfolio of key accounts, and deliver strategic sales activity that strengthens our market position and drives revenue.

You will showcase our boutique hotel experience, including Bistro Saine and The Halligan, with future conference and event spaces.

Qualifications

Three years' progressive hotel sales or business development experience.
At least one year in a senior sales role.
Experience in Australia or New Zealand market highly regarded.
Strong English communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Identify, qualify and convert new sales opportunities to grow our customer base and hotel revenue.
Manage and develop an assigned portfolio of accounts with strategic sales plans against targets.
Identify new markets, segments and seasonal opportunities via campaigns and promotions.
Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through prospecting, client visits and site inspections.
Collaborate with Revenue, Reservations, Marketing and Operations to deliver a seamless client experience.
