We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a permanent full-time Associate SENCO in our primary school based primarily on our Junior Campus (Years 1-6). Start date negotiable.
Located on the beautiful Hibiscus Coast of Auckland, KingsWay is a high achieving, growing, state integrated Christian school catering for Year 1-13 students, with a current roll of over 2000 students. Reporting to the Director of Learning Support, this role is responsible for supporting the coordination of inclusive learning support practices across the Primary School. Working collaboratively with teachers, whānau and external agencies, you will help ensure students with diverse learning and behavioural needs are well supported to experience success and belonging in our school community.
An important condition of employment is that applicants must have a willingness and ability to take part in religious instruction appropriate to the Special Christian Character of KingsWay School. You will enjoy contributing and promoting a biblically informed, Christ-centred worldview, including how this translates to supporting and growing our students’ faith, and will protect and enhance our Christian character.All teaching staff are expected to uphold the special character of the School.
