Job summary

Westpac New Zealand is seeking an Associate Private Banker in Auckland to join the Private Bank. In this role you’ll partner with Executive Private Advisors to deliver exceptional client experiences and support the growth of high-net-worth client relationships.

You’ll manage client relationships, coordinate delivery of services, and work with stakeholders to achieve business objectives in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with lending systems is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in banking, private banking, or wealth management, with a strong understanding of lending products.
• Advanced credit skills, with a strong understanding of complex home lending, and excellent financial numeracy.
• Strong client service background, with 4-5 years of experience in financial/banking services, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Technical proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Power BI, Outlook, and Teams, as well as knowledge of Westpac lending systems and banking-related compliance.
