Job description

Parexel is looking to hire an Associate Director, Global Biometrics Account Lead for the North America team!

The Account Lead (AL) is responsible for the GDO partnership strategy, directly or indirectly managing and developing staff that support that partnership or business specialism such as RWE or EPCU, and their performance, continuously striving for operational excellence, controlling overconsumption, and interacting directly with clients in a way that results in repeat business.


The AL is also responsible for ensuring that appropriate management practices are in place on the partnership/ study/ business specialism (e.g., retention and development plans) to retain staff and maintain project and business continuity and for participating in project bids and client presentations as appropriate.

Duties:

  • Work with the Group Lead Biometrics Delivery (GLBD) as well as the DLs to develop and execute study strategy
  • Work with GLBD to continuously improve Global Biometrics Oversight (GBO)/GDO.
  • Participate in GBO/GDO initiatives as assigned
  • Maintain a positive, results oriented work environment, building partnerships within the group and across the organization at large, modelling teamwork.
  • Maintain familiarity with Parexel project-related applications, technologies and processes, including detailed knowledge of their business specialism as applicable.
  • Communicate with DLs in an open, balanced, and objective manner.
  • Empower team to be the best that they can be with first time quality.
  • Provide technical knowledge and oversight and serve as an escalation point where appropriate.
  • Remain informed about developments in relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Account Management
  • Responsible for one or more accounts key accounts or a portfolio of a business specialism such as RWE or EPCU
  • Manage finances, resources, execution, and delivery of GDO activities
  • Primary point of contact for ALs/ DLs and functional leads as applicable
  • Client engagement including attendance at client governance/partnership level meetings as required
  • Act as a point of escalation for their account/portfolio
  • GDO account/portfolio pipeline forecast, resource review and lead account/portfolio operational project reviews
  • Proactively communicate partnership updates across GBO
  • Proposal review of all opportunities on the account/portfolio
  • Participate in and contribute to project bids, including client presentations. Provide on-going support to the Commercial organization
  • Work as applicable with GDO SMEs relevant to account/portfolio trainings, systems, process changes
  • Act as the client contact when required
  • Take appropriate action following regular feedback sessions from client's Biometrics groups
  • Ensure agreed levels of productivity/billability and staff turnover are maintained on their account/portfolio
  • Track and monitor operational performance against account/portfolio level KPIs / SLAs as appropriate

Experience:

8+ years experience within project management in the clinical trials/pharma space

Education:

Bachelor's degree
