Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora at North Shore Hospital seeks an Associate Clinical Charge Nurse (ACCN) to provide clinical oversight alongside the Clinical Nurse Manager and ensure patient safety meets high standards.

We require a Registered Nurse with a current Annual Practicing Certificate and at least five years of post-registration experience, plus leadership skills. The role includes night/weekend/holiday shifts for 24/7 coverage and team development.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current Annual Practicing Certificate (NZ Nursing Council).
• Minimum five years post-registration nursing experience with leadership experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage people.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight alongside CNM to meet patient safety and professional practice standards.
• Lead and develop nursing team, ensure high standards of care and efficient roster management.
• Maintain 24/7 coverage with flexible shift patterns including nights, weekends and holidays.
