Job summary

OwenCullineyLaw in Hamilton and Waihi is expanding and seeking an Associate to join our dynamic, close-knit team. We practice property law and commercial transactions with a collaborative, client-centered approach.

You’ll bring proven experience in property law (conveyancing, subdivisions, trusts, leases, and developments) and a willingness to grow in commercial work. The role offers flexibility to work across both offices and mentoring from partners.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in property law including conveyancing, subdivisions, trusts, leases, and developments.
• Willingness to grow in commercial transactions.
• Self-starter with ability to take ownership and build relationships.
• Established client relationships desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with partners to manage property law matters across Hamilton and Waihi.
• Grow and maintain client relationships and contribute to practice development.

• Ideally, some established or developing client relationships (though not essential)
