YOUR MISSION:

Lead. Inspire. Succeed. Step into the Assistant Store Manager Role at PUMA

PUMA isn’t just a brand—it’s a global movement built on speed, innovation, and fearless ambition. As an Assistant Store Manager, you won’t just be helping run a store—you’ll be helping lead a high-performing team, drive meaningful results, and grow your career with one of the world’s most iconic sportstyle companies.

This is your chance to step up, stand out, and bring your leadership skills to the next level in a fast-paced, high-impact environment where excellence is the standard.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team in a fixed term contract and expand your retail experience throughout back half of 2025 and into peak trade of Black Friday and Christmas!

Why PUMA?

At PUMA, we’re not just in the business of selling footwear and apparel—we’re creating a retail experience that inspires. From the music to the layout to the energy on the floor, everything is designed to reflect movement, progress, and performance. As an Assistant Store Manager, you’ll be central to bringing that vision to life, every single day.

Your Mission

In this pivotal role, you’ll support the Store Manager in driving store performance, leading a dynamic team, and delivering best-in-class customer experiences. You’ll be a coach, a motivator, a strategist—and someone who leads by example on the sales floor.

  • Lead with impact: Support the Store Manager in cultivating a culture of energy, accountability, and excellence.
  • Drive results: Push to achieve and exceed sales targets, KPIs, and profitability goals through smart planning and team motivation.
  • Elevate your team: Recruit, train, and develop high-performing, customer-focused team members.
  • Champion the customer experience: Deliver service that sets the bar—and coach others to do the same.
  • Own the floor: Be present, be active, and be engaged—spending most of your time where it matters most: with your team and your customers.
  • Run operations like a pro: Manage inventory, visual standards, and loss prevention while keeping day-to-day operations seamless.
  • Step up when needed: Act as Store Manager in their absence and keep the momentum moving forward.

YOUR TALENT:

What You Bring To The Game

We're looking for a proven leader who’s passionate about retail, thrives under pressure, and is excited to shape a winning store culture.

  • 2–4 years of management experience in a high-energy retail environment (apparel/footwear preferred).
  • A track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong people leadership—with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Adaptability, resilience, and drive—you thrive on challenge and lead with positivity.
  • A passion for sports, fashion, and delivering standout customer experiences.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and adapt to the demands of a retail schedule.

Why You’ll Love It Here

  • Competitive salary with performance-based incentives
  • Extensive training and development opportunities to grow your career
  • Generous staff discounts on the freshest gear
  • A team culture built on support, ambition, and shared success
  • A chance to be part of a global brand with real impact and purpose
