Job summary

Repco in New Zealand is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations and develop the team to deliver outstanding customer service. The role requires supervisory experience, retail or trade knowledge, and a preference for automotive parts familiarity.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience or readiness for the next step.

• Ability to lift and handle heavy products.
• Prioritize safety and lead by example.

• Work closely with the Store Managers in leading the team, and managing operations to achieve success
• Coach and develop team members
• Live, breathe & role model genuine service, creating moments that matter for customers
• Are safety leaders, always providing the safest work environment for themselves, team members & customers
• Always set a positive example
• Often have opening and closing responsibilities

About you:

• Have previous supervisory experience, or be ready for that next step
• Demonstrate previous retail or trade experience, including sales, wholesale, and/or workshop operations experience
• Ideally have mechanical / automotive parts knowledge
• Have a flexible availability and hold a valid driver’s licence
• Have the physical capacity to perform the duties of the role (including handling products of a heavy nature)
• Prioritise safety

Note, this role will require lifting, bending, climbing & safe driving.
