Job summary

Giltrap Audi in Auckland is seeking an Assistant Service Manager to support the Service Department, leading day-to-day operations and delivering a premium customer experience that matches the excellence of the vehicles we service.

You will work closely with the Service Manager to guide a team of Service Advisors and Technicians, manage workshop flow, quotes, authorisations and invoicing, and drive KPI achievement while maintaining brand integrity and exceptional communication with customers.

About the Role

As the Assistant Service Manager, you'll work closely with the Service Manager to lead the day to day operations of our busy service department. You'll be a key player in:

• Supporting a team of skilled Service Advisors and Technicians to deliver exceptional customer experiences
• Managing workshop flow, triage, productivity and efficiency
• Ensuring all jobs are accurately quoted, authorised and invoiced in a timely and transparent manner
• Keeping customers proactively updated throughout the repair process, maintaining exceptional communication and trust
• Assisting with KPI achievement and process improvement initiatives
• Handling customer escalations with professionalism and brand integrity
• Driving a culture of quality, efficiency and teamwork

This is a hands on leadership role, ideal for an existing manager or an experienced Senior Service Advisor looking to take a step up.
