Diocesan School For Girls in Auckland is seeking an experienced educational leader to join our Junior School leadership team as Assistant Principal. This full-time role reports to the Head of Junior School and includes responsibilities across English, Health and physical education, and learning languages.

You will support the Head and Deputy Principal in leading the Junior School and the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), deputising as required.

Qualifikationen

• NZ teacher registration and proven school leadership experience.
• Strong leadership, strategic, interpersonal, organisational and digital skills.
• Expertise in curriculum development, assessment and student achievement.
• IB PYP knowledge and experience (desirable).

Aufgaben

• Oversee daily programmes, timetables, duty rosters and house events.
• Lead the support and specialist teaching teams, and support behaviour management and pastoral care.
• Coordinate academic assessments and competitions, and teach Year 6 extension groups.
• Our Junior School leadership role includes deputising as required and supporting the Head of Junior School.
