Job summary

GPC Asia Pacific is seeking a Category/Merchandise coordinator to support the rollout of category plans at the Mt Wellington location, with hybrid working arrangements (2 days WFH).

You will coordinate collateral, analyse data, and prepare reports under the guidance of a Merchandise Manager. The role requires resilience, organization, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Category, merchandise or buying exposure is desirable.
• Strong communication skills and ability to develop stakeholder relationships.
• Well-developed Excel skills and experience with Microsoft Office.
• A love of data and ability to analyse information.
• A keen eye for detail and strong logic.

The role and you:
Playing an integral part in the coordination of category related collateral, this fast-paced role reports directly to a Merchandise Manager, and ensures that category/merchandise plans are rolled out to schedule.

You'll know you're the right person for the role if you have a resilient, tenacious personality, you thrive in a fast-paced role, and you love the challenge of meeting defined deadlines. Able to work with set objective and set information, and yet still be able to find a way around information that may sometimes seem ambiguous, you'll rely on your problem-solving skills, asking questions along the way.

Duties include:

The successful applicant will have:

• Category, merchandise or buying exposure, or a passion for developing a career in this area
• Strong communication skills and the ability to develop solid stakeholder relationships
• Well-developed excel skills, and good experience in all other Microsoft packages
• A love of data and ability to analyse information
• A keen eye for detail, and strong sense of logic
• Administrative prowess
• A natural ability to be organised
