We are looking for an innovative, energetic, and relationship-focused assistant leader for our English department.

The successful applicant will have a strong understanding of the curriculum area and upcoming changes; be an innovative and successful English teacher who is both enthusiastic, engaging and relational; be able to work collaboratively with staff in support of equity and excellence and be able to demonstrate a commitment to the college's values. Applicants must be NZ registered teachers and be fully conversant with the NZ Curriculum and NCEA refresh process.

Responsibilities
  • Support and contribute to the leadership of the English department with a focus on equity and excellence.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the English curriculum and upcoming changes; be an innovative and successful English teacher who is enthusiastic, engaging and relational.

  • Maintain current NZ teaching registration and be conversant with the NZ Curriculum and NCEA refresh process.
