A civil infrastructure company in New Zealand is looking for an Assistant Accountant. You will handle monthly accounts, financial reports, and support the finance team while ensuring compliance with best practices. Candidates should have over 3 years of accounting experience and strong computer skills, particularly in Dynamics 365. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this position forms a part of the Finance Department. This position is responsible for preparing monthly accounts, including all balance sheet reconciliation, and assisting with regular forecasting. In addition, this role will maintain and manage financial reporting requirements and returns with IRD. This role supports the wider Finance Department in administering and overseeing expenditure in accordance with company objectives, strategic goals and compliance requirements.
