Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for someone in their early accounting career and suits a person who wants to develop, learn, and grow with the role. You will take over a wide variety of tasks depending on your level of experience and skills and work closely with an experienced team of professionals. Responsibilities
  • Accounts Payable monitoring, troubleshooting, including working with our outsourcing team on AP oversight, and problem resolution.
  • Credit card use monitoring and administration, and assisting staff with queries regarding filing expense claims.
  • Assisting with banking administration activities.
  • Provide Accounts Receivable support, such as cash forecasting, receipts, and invoicing for miscellaneous items (outside of core engine deliveries).
  • Support monthly closing activities.
  • Indirect taxes filing, including data gathering, return compilation and payment preparation.
  • Accounting and Controls support, for example account reconciliations, policy reviews, Sarbanes Oxley requirements, and audit support.
  • Projects from time to time (such as fixed asset assistance).
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, Economic or related.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in Accounting, Finance or Audit.
  • Knowledge and practical exposure to accounts payable and receivables, month-end accounting processes, preparing journal entries and account reconciliations, inventory and WIP accounting and tax compliance.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Able to work in as part of a team.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Experience with SAP or another ERP system would be ideal.
  • Able to navigate a complex corporate environment.
