Job summary

Clutha District Council is seeking an experienced Asset Management professional to enhance transportation outcomes. You will lead risk management, develop asset and activity plans, and collaborate with project teams to identify capital works.

You’ll coordinate asset databases and leverage RAMM/ThinkProject and NZTA TIO knowledge to maximise efficiency and value of transportation assets for our community. This role sits within the Asset Management team and offers a supportive, collaborative

Qualifications

• Diploma in Asset Management/civil or equivalent with 3–4 years experience in roading/transportation.
• RAMM and NZTA TIO knowledge is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable with databases, financial monitoring and reporting.
• Excellent communication and ability to build relationships.

Are you passionate about promoting and continually improving more sustainable transportation outcomes? We are looking for an experienced and motivated professional to join our Asset Management team to maximise the efficiency and value of Transportation assets to ensure coordinated services are delivered into the future.

In this role you will

• Continually monitor, review and manage risks associated with management accountabilities
• Develop and implement asset/activity management plans
• Work closely with the Project Management and Operations Teams to identify capital works projects
• Coordinate administration and operation of asset databases

What we’re looking for:

• Diploma in Asset Management/civil or equivalent 3-4 years relevant experience in the roading/transportation industry
• Sound knowledge of RAMM (ThinkProject) and NZTA Transport Investment Online (TIO) an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Confident working with databases, financial monitoring and reporting
• Great communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships
