NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi in New Plymouth is seeking an Asset Manager to provide asset management leadership across Taranaki’s state highway corridor, developing maintenance and renewal programmes and collaborating with contractors and local authorities to keep the region moving safely.
You will analyse network and pavement data, conduct field validation and inspections, and apply asset management principles to inform evidence-based investment decisions.

As Asset Manager, you'll provide asset management expertise and technical leadership to support the development and oversight of maintenance and renewal programmes across Taranaki’s state highway corridor. Working closely with contractors, local authorities, technical specialists, and internal stakeholders to ensure the network continues to perform today while planning for tomorrow.
Your work will directly support evidence-based investment and operational decisions that keep the region’s transport network running smoothly.

Appointment salary is expected between $92,700 to $112,000 commensurate with skills and experience.
